Applications are available twice a school year, once in the Fall and again in the Spring.  Applications are now open for the Fall 2025 cohort. The deadline to submit the National Achiever’s Society application is Monday, November 10th, by 5:00 PM. The Induction Ceremony for new National Achievers will be held in December at FIU’s Biscayne Bay Campus. Once students are inducted, parents are expected to be active members of The Miami Achievers Parents Association (TMAPA).

To apply, students must:

  • Be enrolled in a Miami-Dade County school
  • Meet the academic requirement of having at least (2) A grades and the rest B grades for the last three (3) consecutive grading periods.
  • Have no grades below a B in conduct.
  • $75 student application fee, which includes the NAS induction and NAS jacket.
  • Be a positive role model for other students
  • Be active in the community
